چکیده
Currently, fires (e.g., biomass burning and/or straw burning) are still prevailing and serious globally. However, the issue of characteristics, types, drives fire occurrence is always a challenge varies distinctively worldwide. Using Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Collection 6 (C6) active products during 2001–2020, here, we analyzed frequencies spatiotemporal characteristics at provincial regional to national scales monthly annual in China. The accumulated MODIS C6 China were up 184.91 × 104 past two decades, average level was 9.25 104, especially 2014 (15.20 104). overall trend rising then falling, but with significant spatial temporal differences last 20-years. Temporally, nearly 61% occurred spring (36%) autumn (25%), particularly August (16%), April (14%), October (13%). Spatially, about 90% east Hu Huanyong Line, Northeast South (23%), East (20%). In China, most concentrated Plain, North southeast hills, Yunnan–Kweichow Plateau. terms across regions, Northwest autumn, March, April, October; they summer, June; Southwest winter spring, from December following year. Our study provides full analysis spatio–temporal changes it can also assist supplying beneficial reference for higher monitoring controlling such as burning.
